Concerts on the big stages are intended to galvanize our rich dance heritage and captivate the audience

Our distinctive projects are created by coreographing dances, composing music, designing costumes and set designs in order to put shows that are just a magnificent performance. Rooted in the folklore arts, with well known etno rhythms, we've assembled a troupe of young professional dancers and coreographers, and a stage that comes to life with our sophisticated 3D space mapping giving the audiences a full emotional experience.

Redefined styles, visual effects, unique steps of modern choreography merge into the fusion of contemporary beauty of the Balkans and create new forms of artistic communication. In it's own production, Una Saga Serbica with each performance on the big stages creates a time vacuum that ignates enthusiasm and inspiration of all generations of viewers.

Since the first premiere in 2013 in the Sava center hall in Belgrade, our shows have been performed live over 200 times. Had the privilege to collaborate with the Serbian national television RTS1, which played the recordings of 2 of our projects in prime time over 40 times.

Well over 100.000 audience members contributed to the success not only of our troupe but also to raising awareness of the benefits this form of artistic performance brings. The effects of our performances is not just a great turnout of younger generations but also an inspiration for many to start dancing and performing.

HERE PRESENTED ARE OUR PROJECTS PERFOMERD ON ALL MAJOR STAGES IN SERBIA AND THE BALKANS

DANCES AND SOUNDS OF THE BALKANS

"Dances and Sounds of the Balkans" premiered in 2013 in the largest concert hall of the Sava center in Belgrade and shows upfront all the beauty and diversity of our cultural heritage. The project has been performed across the country and abroad. Serbian media outlets have praised it and labeled it as "the national spectacle that brings back to life the culture of folklore dances in a big way".

The entire project “Dances and Sounds of the Balkans” alters the traditional folklore dances, ethno music and visual aesthetics with the aim of reviving the authentic heritage of folklore dances from different parts of the Balkans.

The project was born out of a desire to include Balkans dances therefor we are performing Serbian, Macedonian, Bulgarian, Vlach, Romanian and Hungarian and other dances.

Wanting the stage and backdrop to have an active role in the performance, we opted for unique 3D space mapping.

Striving to preserve tradition and innovation, the music kept the ethno sounds but with the changed arrangements. In doing so, we achieved a reaction of recognition and fascination with the audience.

The originator and main choreographer Svetozar Krstic is the producer and artistic director. His team consists of co-authors and choreographers Ana Krstic, Nebojsa Gromilic and Mirko Knezevic; music producer and composer is Slobodan Markovic; director Bosko Djordjevic; costume designers Irena Belojic and Ivana Vasic. Solo acts are performed by the leading dancers of the Ballet of the National Theater in Belgrade: Milan Rus and Bojana Zegarac, and other solo acts were performed by Igor Pator, Sanja Ninkovic, Ivan Mileusnic and Jovana Stanisavljevic.

BANOVIĆ STRAHINJA

In 2015 Una Saga Serbica, in co-production with the cultural institution "Vuk Stefanovic Karadzic" from Belgrade, puts on stage a new project - "Banovic Strahinja".

Banovic Strahinja is an epic hero from a small village near Kosovo, who has confused and deeply impressed one Goethe with his deeds and unique chivalrous ethics whose moral messages remain unmatched in Serbian rich epic tradition.

Inspired by one of the most beautiful epic Serbian folk songs about human freedom and dignity, love, forgiveness and great heroism, this choreographic drama, based on original music by Ivan Ilic, choreographed by Ana Krstic, Elena Gromilic, Nebojsa Gromilic and Svetozar Krstic, was premiered in 2016 at the big stage of the cultural institution "Vuk Stefanovic Karadzic" in Belgrade.

DANCES OF THE GODS

"Dances of Gods" premiered in 2018 at the largest concert hall of the Sava Center in Belgrade. Relying on the inexhaustible source of inspiration - love, we've embroidered the power of love and the divine power and illustrated that bond on the stage.

The unique love story is designed and based on picturesque folk tales influenced by ancient deities and mythical beings that were once believed in both Serbia and other Balkan countries..

By creating unique choreography and brilliant formations, we have further linked dance movements with rich costumes and set design. That knit of artistic expression conveys lovers first meeting, overcoming obstacles, patience, eternal struggle with the gods of the underworld and darkness, and above all - the victory of a sincere and courageous heart.

Our audiences were blown-away by characters: Blackgod, Morena, Mokoshka, Jarovid, The Beauty, and The Hero. Their story as producers and dance steps as choreographers are created by Svetozar Krstic and Ana Krstic; directed by Bosko Djordjevic; costume designer Ivana Vasic; composers and music producers Goran Kovacic and Sasa Lokner.
